I had a colleague in my facility who worked with me for a year after his
AICD was implanted. He was regularly exposed to the emissions equipment
under test with the covers removed, ESD and surge tests. He never
experienced any problems with his AICD. However, my facility is an
engineering facility, not a test lab. The total exposure time would have
been limited to a few hours a week and he was no exposed to some of the
stronger fields used in susceptibility testing.

Does anyone have experience working in an EMC test facility and wearing an
ICD or AICD? Respond offline if you prefer.
