Dear Members, Can someone enlight me the regulatory requirements for satellite radio tuners in Canada and EU? For Canada: Are satellite radios categorized as Category II equipment receivers per RSS-Gen (http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/smt-gst.nsf/en/sf08449e.html )? If yes, for a satellite radio without a detachable antenna, is the radiated spurious emission the only test required per RSS-310 (Section 3.1, <http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/smt-gst.nsf/en/sf08448e.html> http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/smt-gst.nsf/en/sf08448e.html) and RSS-Gen (Section 7.2.3 and Table 2)? For EU: Are satellite radios under the scope of EN 55013 and EN 55020, or other standards? Thank you very much for your time and look forward to your help.
