Dear Members,

Can someone enlight me the regulatory requirements for satellite radio tuners
in Canada and EU?

For Canada:
Are satellite radios categorized as Category II equipment receivers per
RSS-Gen (http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/smt-gst.nsf/en/sf08449e.html )?
If yes, for a satellite radio without a detachable antenna, is the radiated
spurious emission the only test required per RSS-310 (Section 3.1,
<http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/smt-gst.nsf/en/sf08448e.html>
http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/smt-gst.nsf/en/sf08448e.html) and RSS-Gen
(Section 7.2.3 and Table 2)?

For EU:
Are satellite radios under the scope of EN 55013 and EN 55020, or other
standards?

Thank you very much for your time and look forward to your help.

Best regards,
Grace Lin
