TUV Rheinland of North America Inc is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated
leader to take on a challenging role as an international approvals
coordinator. This person will be responsible for managing projects for global
certification requirements and ensuring that those requirements can be
fulfilled at the earliest possible time. The international approvals
coordinator is responsible to maintain processes and manage country regulatory
agencies, including TUV Rheinland certification bodies in major economic world
offices, to ensure acquisition of certifications and meeting or beating
established lead times. 


Principal Responsibilities include:

-Develop a plan for securing agency approvals
-Drive support and assist internal Product Safety, EMC and
Telecommunications/Radiocommunications  teams as required to obtain
standard/special reports, as required. 
-Responsible for obtaining Product Safety, EMC, and wireless approvals to meet
or exceed customer's product launch dates. 
- Implement Internal procedures to gain global certifications
-Communicate with Management regarding planning, forecasting and availability
issues. 
-Continuously evaluate the process and local country office support to ensure
best in class certification lead times.
-Provide weekly status on approval dates, progress and issues. -Initiate and
approve 
-Initiate and drive for process improvement.


Job Requirements:

- Some knowledge of  global Import/Custom requirements and Regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
including engineering, sales, finance and operations.
- Have a technical background and minimum 2 years relevant working experience. 
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical
thinking capabilities.
- Fluency in Chinese or Spanish as a second language is a plus\
