I'm sure a few minutes spent with Google and the words "status of French overseas dependent territories" will give you an authoritative answer but my understanding is that, unlike the overseas dependencies of other EU states, France treats all its dependencies as departements of itself and thus all the laws which apply in the mother state also apply in the dependencies.
