Hi

Milmega in the UK also do a range of microwave amplifiers. www.milmega.co.uk

However, I doubt if you will beat Ophir prices considering the
sterling/dollar rate.

Doug,

The first supplier that comes to mind is Mini-Circuits
(www.minicircuits.com).

Subject: 2 watt amplifier

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone point me to a supplier of an RF amp with the following
specifications:

Frequency range: minimum of 800 MHz to 2 GHz
Power level: 1 to 2 Watts
Gain: minimum of 30 dB

The Ophir model 5303075 looks perfect except for the 6 week delivery
time, price seems a little high also. I would like to find a supplier
that can deliver quickly.

The kind of unit I am looking for is a small box with SMA or other
common connectors and a DC input to connect to a power supply.

The amplifier will be used for the lab technique described in my
Technical Tidbit at:
