Matsushita is cited as the battery pack source, but no specific mention of the cell manufacturer, though it's probably also Matsushita. I am struck by a Nokia representative defining "excessive charging" as "more than 300 times." If a phone is placed on a charger at the end of each day, the battery pack potentially has an overheating problem in about 10 months (the article doesn't say how deep a typical discharge is assumed to be or their assumed frequency of recharging).
