Subject: RE: stray voltage ??? Thinker???

Yes - when studying power distribution many, many years ago we were told
of instances of cattle being electrocuted when standing near high
voltage pylons which either flashed over or were struck by lightning -
the potential difference developed in the ground between the front legs
and rear legs being sufficient to do this.

Regards,

Chris

I see a market opportunity here; bonded booties for cows! Yep, protect
your herd from stray currents by outfitting them with four conductive
booties (and associated bonding straps).

Maybe around Christmas, cows could be equipped with blinking LED's.
Wonder if the gradients are enough to light a chicken (much smaller
stance is a problem).
