Dear Members,

Could you please advise what antenna calibration data an user must have in
regard to emission measurement in a 3m semi-anechoic chamber for the frequency
range of 26MHz to 2 or 3GHz? I thought an new antenna comes with calibration
data needed. Here is a note provided by an antenna sales representative:
"

Note : Standard calibration for the above is done at 1m per SAE ARP 958 and
3m and 10m per ANSI C63.5, horizontal polarization. Vertical polarization is
available for additional charge. "

My questions are:

1. If I only have 3m measurement capability, do I need to worry about 10m
calibration data?

2. Do I need to have data in verical polarization (additional charge)?
3. Is there anything else that I miss?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Grace
