Support limited travel and overtime as required. The candidate must be self motivated with strong communications and organization skills. A four year engineering degree is required (other education and equivalent experience may be considered). Two years experience in Compliance related activity such as product safety, NEBS etc. is preferred. A background in Ethernet/IP based networks is a desired. Job Duties: The Regulatory Compliance Engineer, NEBS, will provide engineering services to the various designs groups. These services include review and engineering support to insure ADTRAN products meet the applicable Telcordia or ETSI compliance requirements. This will include overall design, schematic and artwork review of products during all phases of product development and testing. The candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, performing evaluations, generating test reports and other associated documentation as well as manage projects through the entire phase of evaluation and listing. The candidate will support in-house testing in areas such as Lightning, Power Fault, Safety, Environmental test. The candidate will be responsible for equipment configurations and verification of proper equipment operation.
