Quoting from Directive 2006/691/EC...
"Lead in finishes of fine pitch components other than
connectors with a pitch of 0.65mm or less with NiFe lead frames and lead
in finishes of fine pitch components other than connectors with a pitch
of 0.65mm or less with copper lead frames"
The lack of commas leaves this somewhat open to interpretation. Here's
my attempt to clarify and simplify via rewording:
"Lead in finishes of components with a pitch of 0.65mm
or less using either NiFe or copper lead frames. Connectors do not
qualify for this exemption".
Does anyone disagree that this properly defines the exemption?
