Jim: In United States the Federal Law, 29 CFR, Part 1910.399 and OSHA Regulations states that "equipment is acceptable if it is listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL)"
Use of equipment in a work place which is not approved by a NRTL is a violation of Federal Law. However, much of the EMC test equipment that I have seen has only a CE Marking, and no NRTL Marking. Can someone on this list can offer some insight on this?
