Hello Chris, I have never seen anything specified from the EU but UL does have specific requirements related to Safety Instructions in electronic format http://www.ul.com/av/pag5a.html I would check the UL PAGs, CB decisions, IEC CTL and TC Decisions for the standard(s) which apply to your product to see if they specify anything........ regards, John Tyra Manager Product Safety
