There is a bar indicated, the purpose is to indicate that the product
was manufactured (placed on market) after August 2005. If the product
has a date of manufacture, the line would be optional it seems, but
recommend a best practice that the line be utilized. It will avoid
questions should the date of manufacture not be readily apparent.
