No matter what the number, it will always be small!
Just how do you get a female on a scale in public? Right. My wife won’t let me near the scale when she is on it. No idea what the number would be. Ghery S. Would that be ‘good EMC’? Place one of the listening people on it (best effect if it's a small woman). Get your cell phone out and place a call. Make sure the scale will show that a very heavy person is standing on it. Tell everybody that you stop this from happening. That will at least teach them one effect of bad EMC and they will definitely remember it. Petter From: Robert Heller [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: den 29 september 2011 11:48 To: [email protected] Subject: [PSES] EMC Demonstration I have been tasked with the opportunity to provide a short EMC demonstration for non-EMC people. I am having some difficulty coming up with something and I wonder if anyone else has been in this situation in the past. The demo and talk should be about 5 minutes. The basic premise is 'what does an EMC facility do and why do they do it'? I though what I might do is set up an antenna and receiver and show the ambients the need protection: radio, TV, fire, police, cell phones, etc. Then I thought about using a piece of equipment and a hand probe and show the various frequencies coming off the equipment that may interfere with these services and in general terms talk about the various means of reducing this energy to acceptable limits. I really don't have time to "teach" anything and I don't want to get into immunity. Anyone been there before? I would appreciate any suggestions.
