You could start with nothing but an AM or HF band radio and demonstrate 
the 'EM smog' that's always with us. Then as a next step you can 
introduce the test equipment, explaining that its use is to give you 
control over what EMI is generated and detected.

I think your list of services is too long for a short demo. You can just 
say that what applies to AM or HF radio applies to ALL radio.
