Hi
The Machinery directive has EN 60204 as its main standard for electrical safety. In the latest version of the directive in Annex 1 §1.5.1 is stated that “The safety objectives set out in Directive 73/23/EEC shall apply to machinery”. Does this mean that we shall use EN 60204 and a LVD standard to prove compliance? I would like to, because EN 60204 is not very specific. Latest I have discovered that it does not describe how to measure leakage current, no reference to eg. IEC 60990.
