Hi Grace

Which section you use, 15.247 or 15.249, will depend on the output power or
radiated field strength of the fundamental frequency.

Best regards
Tom

        Dear Members,

Do all regulatory requirements for spread spectrum devices apply to one
channel direct sequence spread spectrum device (digital modulation system,
DTS)? For example, for a 802.15.4 Zigbee device, if the device is set to a
particular channel (not many channels), does FCC 15.247 apply? Or, should FCC
15.249 apply?

Thank you very much for your time and look forward to your comments.

        Best regards,
        Grace Lin
