I’m very happy with my A.H. Systems SAS-200/550-1B active rod antenna. It was reasonably priced, runs a long time on its rechargeable battery, is very sensitive and flat, and if you buy an EHA-51B passive loop, you can combine them to get an active H-field antenna.
