Carl, Dealing with China Customs can be painful. I don't have the exactly same experience. I shipped CCC test samples to China with $2 invoice (test samples no commercial value). The Customs rejected it. I had my colleague corrrected to our selling price with a letter to describe the reason. The Customs still felt the invoice was too low... I wonder if your customer is able to change the category and issue a letter to explain. My suggestion is to get a 2nd opinion from the other Customs clearance agent if available. Or, if you know someone at the Customs, ask him/her if there is any way to go around. With regards, Grace
