Dear members, Many thanks to all who replied for a quick, detailed and useful information on my question.

Project number 21437 Standard reference EN 60065:2002/A2:2010 Reference document IEC 60065:2001/A2:2010 (Modified) Technical body CLC/TC 108X IEC technical body IEC/TC 108 Reporting Secretariat NL Dor 2010-10-01 Dav 2010-10-08 Doa 2011-04-01 Dop 2011-10-01 Dow 2013-10-01 The amendment was ratified (approved) by CENELEC (dor) on 1 Oct 2010. National committees must publish as their national standard or endorse this by 1 Oct 2011 (dop) - but may publish earlier - and the previous version (without A2) is withdrawn on 1 Oct 2013 (dow). The other dates are administrative. I believe that BSI published the standard including A2 on 31 Dec 2010. I hope this helps. An amendment with a single-digit number is an IEC-originated amendment and indeed it has been published: IEC 60065 am2 Ed. 7.0 Amendment 2 - Audio, video and similar electronic apparatus - Safety requirements But CENELEC TC108X has presumably not yet proposed to CLC/BT its adoption as an EN amendment. Unlike IEC, where the public have access, CENELEC requires an extra layer of security so that people who have a perfectly legitimate reason to look at the *titles* of working documents (not the texts) have to have special permission! So I can't even tell you what TC108X is doing about this amendment. -- - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
