In review of an arcade system to EN60335-1 and EN60335-2-82, there is a requirement to pour quite a bit of liquid over any surfaces less than 2m above the ground then high-pot it. The product in question uses a monitor evaluated to EN60950-1 as a display without any additional covers. The question: Should this monitor pass the test? (Testing will be performed, but I want to manage the customers’ expectations before testing) Are amusement machines being evaluated to the two harmonized standards above in practice? If anyone has particular experience in evaluating pinball machines or other amusement machines please contact me offline.
