All, Well, the writing on the wall at my current employer has now gone public via our CFO's interview with Reuter's last Thursday and then our President/COO's further comments today, so I'm putting out some feelers just in case I don't end up re-integrated into our existing businesses.
If anyone knows of opportunities for an experienced FCC / PTCRB / GCF / CE / RF / EMC / Bluetooth / Battery Safety (IEEE 1725) / Safety, etc... engineer, I wouldn't mind hearing about them. Current specialties are smartphone compliance project management and direct handling of mobile converged radio devices with integrated cellular modules, WiFi, and/or Bluetooth. I've also been a one-man NEBS show in the past and have a few laser & product safety tricks up my sleve if the right person asks. For cellular module integrators, I'm up to date with the FCC's newest SAR requirements for low duty-cycle devices that have been rolling out over the last year or so.
