Butt Jr., Attorney with Swanson Martin & Bell, LLP, will discuss what you can do to better defend and prevent product liability suits. Attorney Butts discussion will focus on what you can do now so that you can defend future products liability cases more successfully and better yet prevent them in the first place.

Attorney Edward Butt has spent over thirty-five years defending technically complex lawsuits. For the past twenty years his practice has become increasingly focused to the point where now almost all of his work is defending several manufacturers of industrial machinery on a nationwide basis in products liability cases and consulting with them on product safety and products liability prevention. Ed is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan, but he has handled cases in at least twenty-nine states throughout the country. Ed is of counsel to the law firm of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, based in Chicago. He is a 1971 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and a 1968 graduate of Lawrence University. In college he majored in economics, but he also took a heavy concentration of math, chemistry and physics courses.
