So, what is likely to be unacceptable to CENELEC in this version? We adopted all the common modifications into CISPR 22 in Amendment 2 to Edition 5. I heard no objections from the people present in the CISPR SC I WG3 meeting in Milan the beginning of the month.
Now, as to whether or not changes are significant, I agree with you, John. One will have to read it and see for themselves. And, there will be an Amendment 1 in early 2010 if all goes well. Ghery S. Who, except you, can tell if ANY change is significant to you and your products? The 6th edition consolidates Amendment 3 with Edition 5.2; it is not a full revision. It contains text which is unlikely to be acceptable to CENELEC, so the corresponding edition of EN 55022 will have Common Modifications -- OOO - Own Opinions Only.
