Hello,
Does anybody have any input / advice on the above clause regarding its
applicability to the headset socket of a DECT phone (for instance) - if the
phone is not supplied with a headset?
I don’t have a copy of EN 50332-1 but I am guessing that it outlines a
measurement method(s) for measuring SPL at an acoustic interface such as an
earpiece or speaker. If no headset is supplied then unless a reference
earpiece or speaker is specified, the test is not carried out and would be not
applicable - Right or wrong?
Thanks in advance!
