OSHA doesn't set many specific requirements for documentation. In general,
OSHA has general guidelines. Is your product covered by a UL standard? If
so, go with that standard's requirements for documentation. Is there another
standards body that covers your product? Without knowing the specific
product, it is hard to determine who administers the rules for documentation.

You can look for rules at the OSHA web site.

http://www.osha.gov/

On the right hand side, under "Laws & Regulations" is a link for
"Interpretations". Select that link and do a key word search on your product.
It will help you figure out if OSHA is concerned about your product type.

Group,

How do you/your company know if the instructions in your safety manual meet
OSHA requirements?

We are presently writing the User/Install/Maintenance manual for a new
technology product and need to ensure the instructions meet OSHA requirements
for the user/craftsman.

Do you know of any one that is an expert / consultant in this area.

Thanks in advance!
