10 microtesla is correct. My micro did not survive in the ether.

Another question - what is the effect of travelling through the earths
magnetic field (~50 microTesla) at speed? It is not static anymore.

I don't like doing arithmetic on screen: 1 T is definitely 10 kG, so 100 
mG = 10 microtesla is indeed correct. I said that CGS units are 
confusing!

Is it not a matter of deep concern that no research is being done on the 
health effects of exposure to gravitational fields of the order of 10 
m/s^2?
