Reliability Engineer

This individual will be a senior member of the design team for next-generation
photovoltaic concentrator (CPV) product. CPV products are designed to
perform at world-class quality and cost levels, with the goal of competing
with traditional forms of energy generation.

This position is responsible for reliability planning, monitoring experiments,
generating reports, creation of lifetime projections from field data and
component level testing, and corrective action consulting. Involvement in
failure analysis, use of vendors for testing, and consulting with groups
inside and out of company to drive toward product certifications, yield
improvement, and cost reductions. Use of software to characterize and project
lifetimes of systems and components.

This position provides a unique opportunity to develop innovative and
break-through products in the exciting and growing market for renewable energy
solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Reliability testing.

· Failure Analysis.

· Use of reliability software to study degradation rates and lifetime
projections.

· Interacting with other groups to define corrective actions.

· This engineer will be responsible for planning, implementing and
analyzing reliability testing. Reliability testing and the associated failure
analysis enable corrective actions and design alterations to be made moving
products forward through evaluation stages. In addition, there may be
site-specific project work, especially in the early stages when test fields
are being established.

Experience and Qualifications:

· BS/MS in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field
