Brian It was transferred to IEC TC22 and published as IEC 62103. It is available for preview on the IEC website.
"International Standard IEC 62103 has been prepared by IEC technical committee 22: Power electronic systems and equipment. The only thing I could find was the 'abstract' statement on the SAI site: "Applicable to the use of electronic equipment in power installations requiring a uniform technical level of safety and reliability. Specifies the minimum requirements for the design and manufacture of EE, to protect against electric shock, for testing and integrating into systems for power installations." Similar to UL508 ?? thanks much, Brian - This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
