It was transferred to IEC TC22 and published as IEC 62103. It is available
for preview on the IEC website.

"International Standard IEC 62103 has been prepared by IEC technical
committee 22: Power
electronic systems and equipment.

The text of this standard is based on the European Standard EN 50178,
prepared by the
CENELEC Task Force BTTF 60-1: Assembly of electronic equipment."

Subject: EN 50178 scope

Good People,

I am looking for the scope clause and/or table of contents to EN
50178.

The only thing I could find was the 'abstract' statement on the
SAI site:
"Applicable to the use of electronic equipment in power
installations requiring a uniform technical level of safety and
reliability. Specifies the minimum requirements for the design
and manufacture of EE, to protect against electric shock, for
testing and integrating into systems for power installations."

Similar to UL508 ??

thanks much,
Brian
