Short answer is No you are not compliant. Mitigating points:
The first question is -- Does the modem have a Modular Approval? If the modem has a modular approval then you are complaint. The second question is -- Are you the Grantee of record for the modem? If you are the grantee of record + have done regression testing (Spurs and harmonics as reported to the FCC) with the modem installed + the results are equal or lower then what was reported to the FCC = Class 1 Permissive Change, and you are compliant. If you integrate an non-modular approved radio (Modem) into a system you are responsible for the compliance of the system and proving compliance to the FCC (or TCB). Mark Mark S. Any thoughts much appreciated. regards Andy ________________________________ Confidentiality: This e-mail and its attachments are intended for the addressees only (or people authorised to receive them on their behalf) and may be confidential or privileged.
