FACILITY AS FOLLOWS:
The Andover Hardware Test Center provides testing, engineering and consulting
services for primarily Philips Healthcare Medical Devices. The AHTC is
comprised of EMC, Reliability, Product Safety, and Climatic disciplines.
SENIOR SAFETY ENGINEER
This role(s) will require engineering support for Medical Products Safety
Testing and review basic safety and essential performance risk analysis as a
member of cross-functional teams. The qualified candidate will be required to
conduct all aspects of product safety evaluations including scheduling,
planning, investigating, testing, documenting and coordinating projects
through third-party agencies. Work with manufacturing and field-service for
safety testing, safety critical component control and conduct periodic product
audits. Mentor other Safety Engineer’s and Safety Technicians.
This position(s) will have a BSEE or BSET and a minimum of five years of
product safety evaluation experience preferably with medical devices.
Candidate must be able to provide communicate effectively and provide medical
equipment standards consultation to design engineers and regulatory engineers.
This position requires good organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office
applications, good writing skills for technical reports and communication
skills. Prefer some experience with CAD. Desire passionate, ethical and
process improvement minded individual.
