Our Client is looking to bring in a Compliance Engineer to ensure products meet all applicable safety and governmental standards. The ideal candidate would have experience working with Product Safety Agencies such as the UL and CSA, as well as typical EC standards. The candidate would be responsible for coordinating the REACH conformance, developing certification requirements, translating requirements into workable designs and maintaining certification and conformance documentation. The client is in the manufacturing industry and is located in Syracuse NY. They are a premier manufacturer of robust and innovative turbine controls. They have long lasting relationships with customers like GE Energy, Solar Gas Turbines and Pratt & Whitney. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, Engineering preferred or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years experience in compliance/conformance of safety standards for industrial products.
