Hello EMC experts,

A colleague of mine asked me the following question: since there is a
tolerance band of +/- 20% for the Repetition Rate of 5kHz (4 - 6kHz), is
tweaking the rate (for example to 4.4 or 5.5kHz RR) an acceptable practice?

I am of the opinion that the EFT test should be conducted at the nominal
(5kHz) repetition rate and any supporting test reports indicating different RR
frequencies than 5kHz, probably will not sit well with surveillance
authorities. I'm I correct? Please advise.

Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

John Radomski
