Friends and Colleagues, Just a reminder that the 2010 ISPCE - IEEE/PSES Symposium on Product Compliance Engineering will be held this October 18-20 in Boston, MA.
We have a Keynote from the CPSC that promises to provide some interesting insights into how the CPSC does business, as well as a FEATURE PRESENTATION from Keith Armstrong who will be addressing the Functional Safety and EMC aspects of the automotive Sudden Acceleration problem that has been in the news so much this past year. Keith has made presentations to the NHTSA and US Congress on this problem and is a renowned expert on the effects of EMC on Functional Safety in complex electronic control systems. This is a MUST SEE event in my opinion. We have lots of great papers and presentations lined up for this year in our other tracks. You can download the preliminary presentation list from the Symposium Web Site: http://www.psessymposium.org/2010/program . I hope that you can make it to Boston this year! Registrations are open through the web site. Early Bird discounts run until 24-Sep-10 only. Full registration fees start 25-Sep-10. Discounts are available for IEEE Members and Students with valid Student ID. http://www.psessymposium.org/2010/registration -- Doug Nix, A.Sc.T.
