I have no experience in the commercial vehicular environment and I need some guidance from those knowledgeable in this area.
What would be the requirements (EMC, safety, etc.) and things to consider (liabilities, design impacts, etc.) when a device (say a payment terminal, etc.) intended for the EMC Class A environment is installed/used into a commercial vehicular environment? Such a device may or may not be permanently affixed in the vehicle. And, if there are established requirements, where would they be found? I look forward to your reply.
