anyone know where can I find a list of test labs accredited by South

(ICASA, SABS) gov. to perform ADSL ITU-G 992.1, 996 type testing? or will they
accept test results from any lab?

Hi Mark:

The last time I worked on a South African approval was about a year ago, so
the situation may have changed by now. At the time, only test labs approved
by ICASA could be used, and the only approved lab outside of South Africa was
KTL in the UK.

Traditionally, South Africa has refused to accept telecom test reports from
any labs other than the officially approved ones. The folks that handle
safety are a bit more flexible.
