Luke:

I once set up a test station where I had to test the performance of microwave
waveguide filters, and I despaired about all the screwdriver work that would
be involved (this was in the pre-electric screwdriver days). The waveguide was
WR-90 (X-band), but the technique is general. I just fished around in my desk
until I got several heavy-duty paperclips like these:

The clips just clamp on each side of the waveguide flange, and they hold
remarkably well. Oh, you should drop in two machine bolts from one side (nuts
not needed) to maintain the WG alignment. With this arrangement, you can swap
a waveguide joint in just a few seconds.

You can’t get any cheaper, and it works quite well.

Subject: Quick Release Waveguide Clamps

Hello group,

Does anybody have a recommendation for types / suppliers of quick release
waveguide clamps?

Thanks,
