Dear Group Members.
I have a couple of questions on Insect catchers that use light to attract, and either sticky pads or a high voltage grid to kill. Although the units use light to function they are not primarily used to light the environment. My view is that EN55014-1 comes into play and if there is electronics in the HV cct then possibly EN55014-2. I see no reason to test to EN55015 and EN61547 as if they were purely lights. What we are doing is EN55014 and adding the extended conducted emissions to EN55015 starting at 9kHz as an extra. I wonder what views others have on these type of products or experience on this.
