Sylvia – nice! This gives me an excellent starting point. Rather than seeing if the screen falls of I will be doing some pull tests on the test samples and compare it too the initial strength, but it gives me some established procedure to work against. Are there others – probably but this suits my needs quite well.
Thank you for the time and effort in finding that – and I suspect you or your folks had a hand in the test formatting which I will now steal and claim as my own. I will steal credit, but I never accept blame :-) Thank you Gary McInturff 208 635 8306 ________________________________ From: Sylvia Toma [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2010 12:15 PM To: McInturff, Gary; [email protected] Subject: RE: Adhesion test Hi Gary, Please see attached. I can measure initial force obviously, but looking for a standardized test (ANSI IEC) – or just one you’ve found useful. I have some ideas but would like to be able to tie it to aging – hopefully accelerated aging. I can just duplicate some test found on data sheets from some adhesive suppliers but they don’t’ seem to tell the whole story.
