The immunity part in GB/T9813-2000 refers to GB/T17618 , test method refer to 
GB/T 17626.5 which is equals to CISPR 24 and IEC 61000-4. 

 

Criteria for Ethernet (communication port) is,

 

1.5KVp-p for unprotected port.

4KVp-p for protected port

We’ve heard a rumor that China is requiring a surge test on Ethernet ports per 
GB/T9813-2000.  4 kV line to ground.  Sounds like a product killer to me.  Has 
anyone heard anything about this?
