Role Summary/Purpose


The Engineering Manager position leads and executes product programs with
cross-functional team leaders and individuals to meet customer requirements
for product quality, cost, to ensure that new product development is done
on-time, to right quality and cost. Specifically, the EMC Lab Manager provides
leadership of the global Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) lab operations
across GEHC business and drives continual improvement in operational
excellence with regards to process execution


Essential Responsibilities


Lead a global team that owns and implements EMC procedures and processes to
ensure products meet regulatory requirements through development, market
clearance, and post marketing phases.
Grow EMC competency across Global GEHC product development teams to meet EMC
requirements through design specification development, technical support,
process excellence, design reviews, education and scheduling.
Drive and apply Design for EMC strategies into the Product Development process
as required to reduce/eliminate GEHC product liability risks, and to meet the
requirements defined within continually evolving global standards. 
Engage and lead the GEHC EMC community by setting a vision, executing global
strategies, establishing metrics, sharing best practices, highlighting
accomplishments, and developing skills, knowledge and capabilities. 
Provide support to business during internal and external audits of the GEHC
Quality Management System within respected areas. Maintain ISO-17025
accreditation of all facilities.
Ensure and maintain a safe working environment that complies with all EHS
standards and requirements.
