Subject: Direct plug-in EPS

Lots of electronic equipment are using external power supply (EPS) that is of
direct plug-in type. The two halves of housing of the EPS are secured
together either by self-tapping screws or ultrasonic welding. Is there any
method to access these two methods of screws or ultrasonic welding to an
acceptable level? Are these methods degraded with time? We are especially
concerned about the screw method since partial recycle material (now quite
popular for saving environment) may impact the strength.
