All, Do the office hall clock (LED display, 3W, Ethernet for time synchronisation) will be shortly prohibited ?
Reading the 1275/2008 article 2.2 I understand that it is permanently in 'standby mode' because it "provides only the function of - information or status display". Am I right ? Annex I.2 I understand that the information technology devices environments are divided into domestic and industrial, and office is covered by domestic. Am I right ? Article 2.1 (a) calls for a "single functional unit" and I believe as such clock can work without Ethernet connection I think it is single functional unit. Am I right ? I can't find other way to exclude it from EuP so I suppose such clocks would be prohibited.
