Will appreciate it (greatly!) if the kind folks on this forum could direct me
to the appropriate North American and European requirements (directives,
standards, etc) that govern Solid-State (any xLED-based) lighting (fixtures
and replacement bulbs).

The product is drop-in bulb that replaces standard bulb (CFL or incandescent)
with E26, GU-24 or E27 bases, and supply voltages of 120 or 230 V.
