The prEN never made it to full EN status, but there is instead EN ISO 
14159:2004 (and now :2008) "Safety of machinery. Hygiene requirements 
for the design of machinery".

Type C food machinery standards tend to include hygiene requirements.

I have a copy of prEN 1672-1 if you really need to know what is says.
