Peru began the process of adopting UL standards for safety three months ago. http://ulstandardsinfonet.ul.com/harm/MOU/UL_INDECOPI_Agreement_Release.pdf Telecom and radio products will likely require formal certification from the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications <http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti le=Ministry_of_Transportation_and_Telec mmunications_(Peru)&action=edit&redlink=1> , through the Organismo Supervisor de la Inversión Privada en Telecomunicaciones <http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti le=Organismo_Supervisor_de_la_Inversi%C %B3n_Privada_en_Telecomunicaciones&action=edit&redlink=1> (OSIPTEL <http://www.osiptel.gob.pe/> .)
