Please note the „international“ UN ECE Directives:

http://www.unece.org/trans/main/wp29/wp29regs.html
<http://www.unece.org/trans/main/wp29/wp29regs.html>

These Directives are also important for the European market in the future
because the Commission has “rejected” 50 (!) Automotive EC Directives
(including EMC!), so called CAR SAFETY PACKAGE which references the UN ECE
Directives:

Betreff: Automobile EMC/EMI standards

Dear colleagues,

I’m looking for some help in finding EMC/EMI
standards/references/requirements for aftermarket Electronic Subassemblies
installed in automobiles. I’m aware of the SAE standards, and the IEC CISPR
25, ISO 7637, ISO 10605 and ISO 11452. Are there additional EMC/EMI standards
I should be aware of, from those listed above?

Thanks

Ron Baugh
