Thank you Peter,

I should have mentioned that I do plan to test this device to CISPR22 and FCC
part 15 (due diligence). This will provide evidence that it does pass with
XYZ’s computer. There will be a few different system integrators of this
device and this is again why KCC certification (in my opinion) should be
specific to the System integrator. This is logical right?

Best Regards,

Mark

Mark,

The system integrator can have the tests and KCC certification done as part of
the system if your USB device is for use with that system only.

        Hello All,

I am once again confused – I have a test lab indicating that we need to
test to the MIC/KCC requirements for a small USB powered device. This device
will be bundled by a system integrator (OEM computer manufacturer) and my
understanding is that they would be responsible for the MIC/KCC requirements
when they submit their product which includes our device. Now the OEM has not
requested we test. All comments are appreciated.

Thank you,

Mark
