Hi Craig:
I know that for telecom equipment, the "usual" types of requirements apply for
safety and EMC (both emissions and immunity). The Indian standards are
generally based on the IEC and CISPR reference standards, but the details
sometimes differ slightly from the European implementations. If the product
is telecom equipment, additional requirements apply for the network interface,
and these requirements are product-specific.
I'm sure that others in the group can quickly provide you with some web site
references, but if no one else comes up with something I can look into it
tomorrow for you.
