Hi All, I recently published an article on current probes for Interference Technology (March 2012, 2012 EMC Directory & Design Guide) that describes how they work, how to use them to troubleshoot common-mode emissions from cables and how to make your own DIY probe. I also compare the performance of various DIY probes with a well-known commercial probe.
